India POnggal Festival

India festival
Pongal celebration is decided according to the solar calendar, the Pongal date remains the same every year. Following are the date on which the four days of Pongal are celebrated:
  • Bhogi Festival : 13th January. (Every Year)
  • Pongal : 14th January. (Every Year)
  • Maathu Pongal : 15th January. (Every Year)
  • Kaanum Pongal : 16th January. (Every Year)
Pongal Date is the winter solstice in the Hindu solar calendar
Pongal is celebrated on this date itself and also to celebrate the coming of spring.    
This signals the end of winter and the onset of spring throughout the northern hemisphere. For the next six months, the days are longer and warmer.
Side effects to the family, society, and individual
After the holidays, this will have a positive impact on an individual and a family. Individuals will have more experience in a race to see democracy in a celebration of Ponggal festivals. To a family, they can bring families closer family ties, respectively. Society will enjoy the festival and always remember about the dates of the festival. Every festival, there's some meaning. Same as Ponggal festivals.
Festival activities
Ø  Women decorate the central courtyard of their homes with beautiful kolams, done with rice flour and bordered with red clay.
Ø  people go out to picnic.
Ø  people eat sugar canes and decorate the houses with Kolam
Ø  the old clothes and materials are thrown away and fired
Ø  decorated cows, processions and decorative Rangoli

NOUN

PROPER NOUN
Always write a proper noun with a capital letter, since the noun represents the name of a specific person, place, or thing. The names of days of the week, months, historical documents, institutions, organisations, religions, their holy texts and their adherents are proper nouns.
By example :
Many people dread Monday mornings.

COMMON NOUN
A common noun is a noun referring to a person, place, or thing in a general sense.A common noun is the opposite of a proper noun.
By example :
According to the sign, the nearest town is 60 miles away.

CONCRETE NOUN
A concrete noun is a noun which names anything (or anyone) that you can perceive through your physical senses: touch, sight, taste, hearing, or smell.
By example :
The judge handed the files to the clerk.

COUNTABLE NOUN
A countable noun is a noun with both a singular and a plural form, and it names anything (or anyone) that you can count. You can make a countable noun plural and attach it to a plural verb in a sentence.
By example :
We painted the table red and the chairs blue.

NON-COUNTABLE NOUN
A non-countable noun (or mass noun) is a noun which does not have a plural form. And not usually count.
By example :
             Oxygen is essential to human life.

COLLECTIVE NOUN
A collective noun is a noun naming a group of things, animals, or persons. A collective noun is similar to a non-countable noun.
By example :
The jury is dining on take-out chicken tonight.

What is a Verb ?

The verb is perhaps the most important part of the sentense. A verb or compound verb asserts something about the subjects of the sentence and express actions, events, or states of being.

By example :
Dracula bites his victims on the neck.
(The verb "bites" describes the action Dracula takes.)
